Ágnes Backhausz

Lead Training

Ágnes Backhausz is assistant professor at ELTE Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, and researcher at HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Budapest. She obtained her PhD in 2013 at Eötvös University. Soon after that, she joined the Limits of Structures research group at Rény iInstitute as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2015, she returned to Eötvös University, and continued working at Rényi Institute as a part-time researcher.

Research focus

Ágnes' research topics include random graphs, martingale theory and graph limit theory. In particular, she has been working on the applications of graph limit theory to spectral properties of random graphs and matrices.
