Linda Douw is an associate professor and leads the section on Multiscale Network Neuroscience at Amsterdam UMC. She and her team work to improve glioma patient outcomes by understanding and manipulating personalized multiscale network data. Her team consists of neuroscientists, clinicians, biologists, physicists and psychologists, and uses neuroimaging, neurophysiology, microscopy combined with the theoretical framework of complex networks in patients and model systems to achieve the goal of better understanding and treating brain cancer.
Research focus
Linda's work spans from understanding cognitive deficits in brain tumor patients, to exploring the interaction between glioma and the brain network at multiple scales, do developing network-based biomarkers to facilitate neuro-oncological care.
